The mandate of the National Issues Committee is to defend the interests of the veterinary profession by identifying pertinent national veterinary issues, developing position and policy statements, monitoring federal government activities, and developing strategies for government relations and lobbying. Dr. Sandler is a well-respected animal health expert and is frequently quoted and interviewed on varying topics related to animal health. Dr. Sandler brings a unique perspective and expertise, and is looking forward to contributing to the National Issues Committee.
